Teddy Bear Museum Phu Quoc: Tickets, What’s Inside & Is It Worth It?

Teddy Bear Museum Phu Quoc is an indoor attraction in Grand World, in the north of the island. Its five themed zones follow Teddy Jones, a fictional bear explorer, through miniature worlds and travel-inspired scenes. There are more than 500 bears, but the appeal is the way they become characters in an adventure rather than a collection behind glass.

Is it worth visiting? For families with young children, teddy-bear fans and anyone who enjoys playful, photo-friendly spaces, it can be a good hour out of the heat. If you are more interested in Phu Quoc’s history or nature—or you have only a short time at Grand World—I would save the admission money for something else. Grand World itself is free to walk around; the museum is a separate paid attraction.

What will you actually see inside?

The museum is built around The Adventure of Teddy Bear. Teddy Jones, an explorer loosely inspired by the Indiana Jones style of adventure, turns up in staged settings from different places and imagined worlds. Among the displays described by the operator are an Egyptian pharaoh bear, a mermaid bear, a Statue of Liberty bear and a Vietnamese-themed exhibit, as well as older teddy bears in display cases. The scenery is part of the attraction: you look for details, follow the story and stop for photographs.

Even the exterior is distinctive. The rounded, doughnut-shaped building has a giant waving teddy bear beside it, so it is easy to recognise within Grand World. Inside, the operator lists five zones and about 1,500 m² of exhibition and entertainment space. The larger 2,162 m² figure occasionally quoted online refers to the overall four-storey building, not the exhibition floor area.

Expect an imaginative themed visit, not a deep historical exhibition. A café and souvenir shopping are also described by the operator; check what is open on the day. For children who enjoy looking closely, comparing costumes and finding their favourite bear, the settings can be the highlight. For adults who are not interested in staged displays, the visit may feel brief.

Teddy Bear Museum tickets: which option makes sense?

VinWonders’ published standard admission is 200,000 VND for guests above 140 cm and 150,000 VND for children 100–under 140 cm and visitors aged 60+. Confirm the rule for children below 100 cm and any date-specific offer at checkout. The operator lists a 450,000 VND adult combo for Teddy Bear Museum and the evening The Quintessence of Vietnam show, compared with 500,000 VND for the two published standard adult tickets bought separately. Prices can change.

Before buying museum admission, check your existing VinWonders or Safari ticket. Some named two-day combinations and promotional packages already include Teddy Bear Museum; a standard park ticket does not automatically guarantee museum access.

A fourth option for children aged six and over: VinWonders advertised a Teddy Junior Adventure guided activity through 31 December 2026. The published price is 500,000 VND per child, for an approximately 60-minute guided session with games and an explorer costume. It is a separate activity, not the ordinary 200,000 VND museum entry. Places are limited, advance booking is required and restrictive cancellation terms apply. Check Teddy Junior Adventure conditions.

How long do you need, and when should you go?

Allow roughly 45–90 minutes for a self-guided museum visit. That is a planning estimate, not an official required duration. A quick walk through the rooms will take less time than a visit with children who want photographs, souvenir browsing and a café break.

Published opening hours are 10:00–21:00. The museum makes sense during the hottest part of the day or when rain interrupts an outdoor walk. If you want to stay for Grand World’s evening entertainment, visit the museum earlier, have dinner and then head to the canal or the cultural-show venue. Recheck closing hours and show times for your date rather than assuming all attractions follow one timetable.

How to get to Teddy Bear Museum

The museum is inside Grand World Phu Quoc, near VinWonders and Vinpearl Safari in the island’s north. Grand World is the destination to enter in your map or taxi app; once there, look for the circular museum building and the giant white bear.

For travellers without a scooter, VinBus routes 17, 19 and 20 connect parts of the island with Grand World. Since 1 January 2026, the operator has listed public-route fares of 20,000 VND for trips within or between adjacent zones and 50,000 VND for a full-zone journey. Internal United Center shuttles are free. Eligible Vinpearl/VinWonders/Safari/Grand World ticket holders may qualify for a free public-route ride after QR verification; do not assume a free ride without checking your ticket and route.

Check the live timetable and the last return service in the VinBus app or website before staying for an evening show. Taxis are the more flexible fallback. For a longer car-free plan, see the Phu Quoc without a scooter itinerary.

Where to stay near Grand World

If the museum and evening shows are the main reason for visiting northern Phu Quoc, staying near Grand World or Ganh Dau shortens the trip back at night. Duong Dong and Long Beach offer easier access to central restaurants and the night market, with a longer ride to the north.

A simple Grand World afternoon and evening

If the museum is your main paid stop, arrive in the afternoon, explore Teddy Jones’s rooms and then walk the colourful streets and canal without paying another admission fee. Families can have dinner nearby and decide whether the children still have energy for an evening show.

If you want a fuller cultural evening, the museum-and-show combo can be sensible: the museum is an easy indoor activity, while The Quintessence of Vietnam is a separate staged performance exploring Vietnamese traditions. Check the performance schedule before buying a same-day combo.

Already spending a full day at VinWonders or Vinpearl Safari? I would not squeeze the museum in just to tick off another attraction. Visit if its admission is included and you genuinely want the themed experience; otherwise, enjoy Grand World’s free outdoor areas and save your time for dinner and the lights.

The choice is straightforward: buy a standalone ticket if the teddy-bear scenes are the reason you are coming; consider a museum-plus-show ticket if you want both; and check park-combo inclusions before paying twice.
