Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc: 7 Best Tips Before You Go

Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is an evening water show in Sunset Town, near Kiss Bridge in the south of Phu Quoc. The show combines flyboards, jet skis, music, lights, fire effects and fireworks, with the sea as the main stage.

It is not a classic concert and not just a fireworks display. The format is closer to a short water performance: athletes move across the sea, flyboards rise above the water, jet skis cut through the show area, and the whole scene is framed by Sunset Town, Kiss Bridge and evening lights.

I would treat Symphony of the Sea as part of an evening in Sunset Town, not as the only reason to cross the island. It works best when you combine it with Kiss Bridge, a walk by the water, dinner, drinks or another evening plan nearby.

Quick answer: Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is worth considering if you are already planning to visit Sunset Town and want a short, visual show by the sea. It is especially good if you like fire, water tricks, jet skis, flyboards and evening entertainment. If you want a bigger, more story-based production, Kiss of the Sea may be a better main show.

What is Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc?

Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is a water and pyrotechnic show in Sunset Town. The main stage is not an indoor theater or a traditional performance hall, but the open sea area near Kiss Bridge.

The show uses several main elements:

  • flyboards
  • jet skis
  • fire effects
  • fireworks
  • lights and lasers
  • music
  • water stunts
  • the evening setting of Sunset Town

The focus is not a complicated storyline. Symphony of the Sea is more about movement, speed, water, fire and visual rhythm. It is short, bright and easy to understand, which makes it a good evening addition to a Sunset Town visit.

In simple words, Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is a water show you can combine with Kiss Bridge, dinner, drinks or an evening walk in Sunset Town.

Where is Symphony of the Sea located?

Symphony of the Sea takes place in Sunset Town, in the south of Phu Quoc, around the Kiss Bridge and Sun Bavaria GastroPub area.

This part of the island is one of the main evening zones in Phu Quoc. Nearby, you can find:

  • Kiss Bridge
  • Sunset Town waterfront
  • Vui-Fest Bazaar
  • Sun Bavaria GastroPub
  • cafes and restaurants
  • Kiss of the Sea
  • Hon Thom cable car station

The location matters because Symphony of the Sea feels stronger as part of the whole Sunset Town experience. The area already has sea views, colorful buildings, lights, music, restaurants and places to walk. The show adds a short visual highlight to that evening setting.

A simple plan could be: arrive in Sunset Town before the show, walk around, visit Kiss Bridge, choose your viewing format, have dinner or drinks, and then watch Symphony of the Sea.

What time does Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc start?

Symphony of the Sea usually starts around 19:30 and lasts about 25 to 30 minutes.

Check the latest schedule before you go. Showtimes, access rules, viewing zones and prices can change depending on the season, weather, holidays or special events.

Because the show is short, I would not arrive at the last minute. You need time to get to Sunset Town, find the entrance, choose your viewing area and settle in before the show starts.

For the whole experience, I would plan at least 1.5 to 2 hours, especially if you want to combine the show with Kiss Bridge, a restaurant, drinks or a walk around Sunset Town.

What happens during the show?

The main part of Symphony of the Sea is the action on the water. Athletes perform on flyboards, jet skis move across the sea, and the performance is supported by music, light, fire effects and fireworks.

The most noticeable parts are:

  • flyboard performers rising above the sea
  • fast jet ski movements
  • fire and light effects
  • fireworks over the water
  • reflections from Sunset Town lights
  • music that gives the show its rhythm

This is not a slow performance where you need to follow a deep plot. It is a visual show built around speed, movement and atmosphere. The strongest moments happen when the water stunts, fire and fireworks come together.

Why watch it as part of a Sunset Town evening?

Symphony of the Sea is not a long show, so it works best when you build a small evening around it.

If you come only for the show, watch for half an hour and leave, the experience may feel too short. But if you combine it with Sunset Town, Kiss Bridge, dinner, drinks or a walk by the sea, the evening feels more complete.

I would not plan it as “go only to Symphony of the Sea.” I would plan it as an evening in Sunset Town, with Symphony of the Sea as the main show moment.

Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc tickets, prices and viewing formats

When I visited, there were different ways to watch Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc.

The regular entrance to the show was 500,000 VND. Through Sun Bavaria GastroPub, the entrance was 250,000 VND, with food and drinks ordered separately from the menu.

This does not mean the restaurant option is automatically cheaper. Once you add food and drinks, the total can be higher than a standard show ticket. The difference is the format: you are paying for a more comfortable evening, not only for the show itself.

In general, Symphony of the Sea is a paid show. The question is not whether to pay or not, but how you want to watch it.

When I visited, the main viewing options were:

  • from Kiss Bridge
  • from an open viewing area by the water
  • from Sun Bavaria GastroPub

Option 1: watching from Kiss Bridge

One option is to watch Symphony of the Sea from Kiss Bridge. This is not a casual “we were walking on the bridge and saw the show” situation. It is a viewing format where you pay for access, go onto the bridge, find your place and watch the performance from there.

The advantage is the location itself. Kiss Bridge is one of the main landmarks of Sunset Town, so watching the show from there gives you a strong sense of place: the bridge, the sea, the show area and the lights around you.

This format is good if you want to combine Symphony of the Sea with a visit to Kiss Bridge. I would still arrive early, because people choose their spots before the show starts, and the performance is too short to spend the first minutes looking for a good position.

Option 2: watching from the open water-side zone

Another option is to watch Symphony of the Sea from the open viewing area by the water. This is also a paid viewing format, not a free random spot on the beach.

This is the most direct option: you buy access, enter the viewing zone and watch the show closer to the water.

The advantage is that you focus on the performance itself. The downside is that comfort and visibility depend on the crowd and where you stand or sit.

I would come with some extra time. Since the show is short, finding a good spot after it starts is inconvenient.

Option 3: watching from Sun Bavaria GastroPub

I watched Symphony of the Sea from Sun Bavaria GastroPub, and this format worked well for me. I did not compare every possible viewing point, so I will not say it is the best place for everyone. But from my experience, it was comfortable.

When I visited, entrance through Sun Bavaria GastroPub was 250,000 VND, and then food and drinks were ordered separately from the menu.

The format was simple: you enter, sit at a table, order what you want, and watch the show from your seat. The view was good, and I liked not having to stand in a crowd or look for a spot near the barriers.

Again, this is not necessarily the cheapest option. With food and drinks, the total can be higher. But it gives a different type of evening: a table, a menu, a sea view, and the show happening in front of you.

Before going, check the current prices, entrance rules and seating conditions with Sun Bavaria GastroPub or the booking page, because details can change.

Symphony of the Sea vs Kiss of the Sea

It is easy to get confused in Sunset Town because Phu Quoc has several evening shows with similar names.

Here is the simple difference:

Symphony of the Sea is a shorter water show with flyboards, jet skis, fire, light and fireworks. It is more about speed, tricks, movement and a bright show moment by the sea.

Kiss of the Sea is a larger multimedia show with a water screen, performers, a storyline, lasers, fire and a final fireworks display. It feels more like a full evening production.

I liked both formats, but they serve different purposes.

Kiss of the Sea feels like a main event that you can plan around. Symphony of the Sea feels more like a strong evening episode that fits well into dinner, drinks or a walk around Sunset Town.

If you can see both and the schedule works, they can complement each other. If you choose only one and want a larger production, I would look more closely at Kiss of the Sea. If you want a shorter show by the water that can fit into a restaurant or Sunset Town evening, Symphony of the Sea makes sense.

Who will enjoy Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc?

Symphony of the Sea can be a good choice if you:

  • already plan to visit Sunset Town
  • want to see a show by the sea
  • like flyboards, jet skis, fire and fireworks
  • want a short evening activity
  • travel with family or children
  • want bright video content from Phu Quoc
  • plan to visit Kiss Bridge
  • want to add something visual to dinner or drinks nearby

It is a good option for travelers who want an easy evening plan without complicated logistics.

Who may want to skip it?

You may want to skip Symphony of the Sea if you do not like tourist shows, loud music, special effects or organized evening entertainment.

If you prefer quiet local places, small cafes, empty beaches and no schedule, this format may feel too staged.

I also would not cross the whole island only for Symphony of the Sea if you are not planning anything else in Sunset Town. The show is short, and its value is stronger when combined with the area around it.

What to combine with Symphony of the Sea

The best option is to make it part of a Sunset Town evening.

You can combine Symphony of the Sea with:

  • Kiss Bridge
  • Sunset Town waterfront
  • Vui-Fest Bazaar
  • Sun Bavaria GastroPub
  • cafes and restaurants by the sea
  • Kiss of the Sea, if the schedule works
  • an evening walk around Sunset Town
  • Hon Thom cable car during the day and Sunset Town in the evening

If you are coming from another part of the island, arrive earlier. Walk around first, choose your viewing format, have food or drinks if you want, and then watch the show without rushing.

Final thoughts

Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is a short, bright water show that works best as part of a Sunset Town evening.

Come for the full setting, not only the 25 to 35 minutes of the show: Kiss Bridge, the waterfront, dinner or drinks, the sea, the lights and then the performance.

For me, the best way to approach Symphony of the Sea Phu Quoc is to choose your viewing format in advance. Watch from Kiss Bridge, use the open water-side zone, or sit down at Sun Bavaria GastroPub. Once that is clear, the show becomes a simple and enjoyable part of an evening in southern Phu Quoc.
