The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya Review: Staying in Kaleici Old Town

The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya is a small themed boutique hotel inside Kaleici, the old town of Antalya. I chose it because I wanted to stay directly inside the historic center, not somewhere outside and then commute in every day.

The hotel caught my attention for several reasons: the Little Prince theme, the old stone house, the breakfast courtyard, the rooftop terrace and the tiny format of only 8 rooms. It felt more personal than a standard city hotel.

The entrance to The Little Prince Boutique Hotel sits on a narrow street inside Kaleici Old Town.

The main strengths are the location, concept, cleanliness, breakfast atmosphere and service. The main drawbacks are compact rooms, evening noise from Kaleici nightlife and the usual old-town logistics: narrow streets, stairs and difficult car access.

Quick answer: The Little Prince Boutique Hotel is a good choice if you want a characterful boutique stay in Kaleici Old Town and plan to explore Antalya on foot. It may not suit light sleepers, families with small children, travelers with mobility issues or anyone who needs a large modern room and quiet nights.

Why Kaleici is a good place to stay in Antalya

Kaleici is Antalya’s old town: narrow streets, stone houses, wooden doors, small hotels, cafes, bars, souvenir shops, viewpoints and the old marina.

The best thing about staying here is simple: you can walk almost everywhere. From the hotel, it is easy to reach Hadrian’s Gate, the marina, viewpoints, cafes, small museums and evening spots without planning transport every time.

This is the kind of area where the neighborhood becomes part of the stay. You leave the hotel door and immediately step into old Antalya: stone lanes, cats, courtyards, small shops, old facades and hidden corners.

Kaleici is not only about ticking off landmarks. It is better to experience it slowly: walk downhill to the marina, climb back toward the viewpoints, turn into random lanes and notice small details along the way.

Why I chose The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya

My stay at The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya was mostly about location and atmosphere, not about having a large modern room.

I specifically wanted to stay inside Kaleici. I liked the idea of waking up already inside the old town, without needing a taxi or tram just to start the day.

But the final reason I chose this hotel was the Little Prince concept. I like places with an idea, not just “bed, shower, breakfast.”

Here the concept is visible immediately: a small old house, literary references, rooms named after characters and symbols from The Little Prince, yellow details, drawings on the walls, wooden stairs, a quiet breakfast patio and a small rooftop terrace.

It does not feel like a random decoration. The theme gives the hotel a clear identity.

Small interior details make the hotel feel more personal than a standard city stay.

Historic building and 24/7 reception

The hotel is located in an old stone building inside Kaleici. In the hotel description and local presentation, the building is connected with a historic structure dating back to 1270. The house has massive stone walls, dark wooden stairs and the kind of atmosphere that modern hotel buildings usually cannot copy.

One useful practical detail is the 24/7 reception. This matters more than it sounds. In many small boutique hotels in old towns, reception can be inconsistent, and check-in sometimes turns into messages and phone calls.

Here, the hotel has a proper round-the-clock front desk. This is useful if your flight arrives late, your transfer is delayed or you simply do not want to worry about finding someone to check you in.

Prices depend strongly on season. In April, before the high season, I paid around $40 per night. For a small boutique hotel in the historic center of Antalya, this felt like a fair price for the location and format.

The Little Prince concept: 8 rooms, 8 small worlds

The hotel has only 8 rooms, and each one is connected with The Little Prince universe.

Instead of simple room numbers, the rooms have names inspired by characters and symbols from the book:

  • B612 — the Little Prince’s asteroid, a symbol of small personal worlds and private routines.
  • Pilot — the narrator, connected with the desert, imagination and seeing beyond the obvious.
  • Baobab — a reminder of things that grow quietly if you ignore them.
  • Turkish Astronomer — one of the most ironic figures in the book, connected with how people judge appearances.
  • Fox — the character of friendship, wisdom and responsibility.
  • Rose — fragile, proud, difficult and deeply important.
  • Prince — the central image of the book.
  • King — a small irony about power, control and unrealistic demands.

This is one of the hotel’s strongest details. The rooms do not feel like generic hotel units. They feel like small references to a story many people know personally.

My room: B612 economy room

I stayed for two nights in the B612 economy room.

The room was compact, clean and simple. There was not much space, but for a short stay it was enough: sleep, shower, get ready, have breakfast and go out to explore Kaleici.

This is important to understand before booking. Old houses in Kaleici often have narrow stairs, smaller rooms and less space than modern hotels. The trade-off is atmosphere. You are not staying in a standard hotel box; you are staying inside an old town house.

Rooms in old Kaleici houses can be compact, but the atmosphere is very different from a standard hotel.

The interior was not luxury-style. The main value was the concept: room names, drawings, yellow accents, cushions, pictures, dishes and small details around the house.

For me, it worked. I wanted a small hotel with character inside Kaleici, and that is exactly what I got.

Breakfast in the courtyard

Breakfast at The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya is served in the inner courtyard, which makes the morning feel calm even though Kaleici is busy outside.

The courtyard feels protected from the street. While Kaleici slowly wakes up outside, inside the patio there is a quiet morning rhythm: stone walls, simple tables, tea, breakfast plates and the feeling of being inside a small old house rather than a hotel lobby.

Stone walls, narrow stairs and bright accents create the small-house feeling of the hotel.

The breakfast is not a large buffet. It is closer to a traditional Turkish breakfast plate:

  • eggs or omelet;
  • local cheese;
  • olives;
  • fresh vegetables;
  • bread;
  • honey or jam;
  • tea or coffee.

It is simple, fresh and filling. I liked that breakfast felt more like a morning ritual than a hotel procedure.

Rooftop terrace

There is also a small terrace on the upper floor.

It is not the main reason to book the hotel, but it is a nice bonus. You can go upstairs, sit for a while, look at the roofs of Kaleici, take a few photos and breathe after walking around the old town.

For a small boutique hotel, these extra spaces matter. You are not limited to your room. There is the courtyard, the wooden stairs, the details of the house and the rooftop terrace.

Important drawbacks before booking

The main issue is noise.

Kaleici is a lively old town with bars, restaurants, music and people in the evening. There is a nightclub nearby, and in the rooms you may hear bass at night. In my experience, the noise could be noticeable from around 9–10 PM until late at night.

This did not ruin the stay for me, but it is important to know before booking. Staying in the heart of Kaleici means you get atmosphere, location and nightlife nearby — but you may also hear that nightlife.

There are also planning limitations:

  • rooms can be compact;
  • stairs are narrow and steep;
  • the building is not ideal for large luggage;
  • old-town car access can be difficult;
  • it may not suit travelers with mobility issues;
  • families with strollers may find it inconvenient.

This hotel is not for everyone, and that is fine.

Who will like this hotel

The Little Prince Boutique Hotel may be a good fit for:

  • solo travelers;
  • couples;
  • independent travelers;
  • people who want to stay inside Kaleici;
  • travelers who like small boutique hotels;
  • fans of The Little Prince;
  • people who prefer character over standard hotel space;
  • travelers who plan to be out in the evening and do not need total silence.

It works best if you want the old town right outside your door and you understand that Kaleici is lively at night.

Who should skip it

I would be careful with this hotel if you:

  • are a very light sleeper;
  • travel with small children;
  • need a large modern room;
  • have mobility issues;
  • travel with a stroller;
  • want easy car access;
  • prefer quiet resort-style accommodation;
  • expect silence by 10 PM.

In that case, it may be better to stay outside the busiest part of Kaleici or choose a more modern hotel with larger rooms and easier logistics.

Is The Little Prince Boutique Hotel worth it?

For me, The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya worked because I wanted a small hotel with character inside Kaleici, not a standard city hotel.
The hotel stayed in my memory because of its idea. The Little Prince theme appears in the room names, drawings, yellow accents, dishes and small details throughout the house.

I liked that the concept did not feel random. B612, Rose, Fox, Pilot and Baobab are not just pretty words on doors. They are familiar images from a book connected with travel, loneliness, attachment, responsibility and returning to yourself.

There are practical drawbacks: compact rooms and evening noise. But if you like the theme, want to stay inside Kaleici and prefer a small hotel with mood instead of a generic room, The Little Prince Boutique Hotel can be a memorable choice.

For me, it became one of the warm details of my Antalya trip.

Final thoughts

The Little Prince Boutique Hotel Antalya is not a perfect hotel for everyone. It is small, old-town, compact and potentially noisy in the evening.

But it has something many standard hotels do not have: a clear idea, a literary mood, an old Kaleici setting, a quiet breakfast courtyard and a location that puts the old city right outside your door.

If that sounds more important to you than a large room and perfect silence, this hotel is worth considering.
